The VW8 module is effectively eight VW1 interfaces in one compact unit. On-board possessing allows data to be optionally filtered and averaged prior to transmitting back to the LOGGER-1 via a transceiver.  The VW8 module has been designed to use a little power as possible – allowing it to be powered from standard ‘D’ cell batteries for extended periods.  Add to this a wireless range of up to 1.2km, depending on local conditions, and you have a truly versatile system.
