TRANSCEIVER-1 Wireless Interface

The TRANSCEIVER-1 unit connects via RS485 to a host LOGGER-1 unit. It provides a wireless interface to one or more sensor units. Utilising a robust proprietary wireless protocol, the TRANSCEIVER-1 module can be located up to 1.2km from the sensor interface depending on local conditions and the type of antennae used. Connection to the host LOGGER-1 system is via multi-drop RS485, using a highly error-tolerant protocol which allows cable lengths in excess of 1 kilometre with standard twisted-pair cable.
